Gareth & Lynley Jacobs

A husband & wife team with a combined time in skydiving of 22+ years

Gareth, a former member of the New Zealand military, is an AFF Instructor and the Chief Instructor at Thames Airfield, New Zealand where we run our own DZ as well as CEO of the NZSA

Lynley is a Parachute Technician (Rigger) and PT Examiner for the NZSA

What are our aims?

To increase the numbers of sport skydivers in NZ - this is where our future Jumpmasters, Instructors etc. come from and give overseas tourists the opportunity to learn to skydive at an affordable rate

Help all jumpers achieve their individual aims in the sport, whatever discipline that may be, in a safe , controlled manner

Why we went into gear sales?

Because of our remote location & relatively small number of jumpers, we do not have the gear turnover that other countries do (i.e USA)

Finding affordable, reliable, good quality skydiving equipment has become a priority now that we are putting through and retaining some 90% of our AFF students
